MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a full time Training Specialist IV (Training Instructor) to support the Navy Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) in Philadelphia, PA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

This candidate must have experience with the following:

  • EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Fifteen (15) years of experience with development and issuance of classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, other computer-aided instructional technologies, videos, simulators, and workshops.
  • EDUCATION: Master's level degree in a Technical Field, Education, Psychology or related Training Systems discipline.
  • CERTIFICATIONS AND TOOLS: N/A
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have an active Secret security clearance.
  • TRAVEL: Required to travel from the primary performance location when supporting this requirement.Fifteen (15) years of experience with development and issuance of classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, other computer-aided instructional technologies, videos, simulators, and workshops. Experience setting up teaching materials and lesson plans prior to the class.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

This candidate shall have experience with the following:

  • Shall have working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center and Fleet organizations is desired. Experience may be gained concurrently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the successful candidate will:

  • Conduct, develop and review Front End Analyses (FEA) using the Training Planning Process Methodology (TRPPM) process, Navy Training Systems Plans (NTSPs), and Manpower related documents to include Preliminary Ship Manpower Documents (PSMDs), and Ship Manpower Documents (SMDs) installed on Navy systems as these systems are installed or changed.

Description: The Learning Strategy & Training Development Sr. Specialist creates and delivers effective learning solutions for targeted audiences within or across functional areas of Aramark. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts and other learning specialists to develop learning materials and deliver learning that support enhanced job performance and increased productivity in alignment with our Annual Operating Plan. Responsibilities Include: Learning Strategy & Design Responsibilities: * Devise and propose effective learning strategies and solutions that include classroom and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, micro-learning, and blended learning. * In coordination with the client, define learning objectives and create content outlines, curriculum. plans, and other design documents to guide the development of learning content and evaluations. * Follow Aramark design and branding guidelines to create engaging, high-quality learning materials and compelling learning content that enhance the retention of learning. * Design, develop, and customize learning content; repurpose existing content into new learning solutions. * Design and develop learning activities, knowledge checks, and pre/post assessments that enhance the learning process. * Knowledge with authoring tools to create eLearning courses, micro-learning modules, simulations, video, audio, and high-impact instructional graphics. * Manage review/approval processes, including SME and quality reviews. * Prepare and facilitate virtual and classroom sessions as needed. * Report data to the Learning Team and Client. * Stay abreast of new trends and tools in learning and development. Project Management Responsibilities: * Ability to estimate time necessary to develop and deliver learning solutions. * Manage multiple small- to medium scale projects simultaneously. * Partner with external vendors as needed. * Achieve project milestones/end results. * Logically organize information. * Monitor and communicate status of work in progress; alert stakeholders to potential risks and conflicts. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in learning & development, which includes experience designing and delivering high impact learning solutions. * Experience working with clients and vendors. * Creative thinking with ability to translate abstract ideas into tactical concepts and effectively implement them. * Experience in training facilitation. * Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. * Knowledge of the Training and Development trends and innovations, the market of training vendors and solutions with experience implementing those solutions.
