Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
Prepares all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
Prepares all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have 6 years of experience in information systems development, training, or related fields.
At least 4 years of experience in developing and providing IT and end-user training on computer hardware and application software.
A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Education/Training in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
A Masters Degree is preferred.
A Masters Degree in one of the above disciplines equals one year specialized and two years general experience.

VIEW JOBS 11/20/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-18T00:00 Job Summary: Sector Centralized Procurement Specialist responsible for requisitioning and tracking overhead and direct procurement from inception to completion. Assist with administrative tasks and activities associated with general Sector Operations. Job Duties: * Prepares and processes routine and urgent indirect and direct purchases by requisition or P-card. Compose letters of justification; follow up on requisitions to ensure completion of the work, service and/or delivery of the material or equipment; maintain liaison with vendors, originating Group, and enterprise procurement to secure and provide information concerning special requirements for supplies, equipment, and services or to resolve procurement problems. Use and be proficient with enterprise and sector-specific procurement information systems. Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets for tracking procurements and provide regular monthly and ad hoc reporting as required. Track expenditures to assure groups remain within funding allocations. (80%) * Assist the Sector Communications Organizational Representative (COR) for wireless devices. Manage the administrative process from initial approval and ordering, to programming new equipment, managing contracts, adding/removing international service packages and features, and maintaining the loaner pool of phones. Review monthly bills. Work closely with staff, service provider, ITSD and BCSD. Interface directly with AT&T and handle repairs at Apple. Maintain internal SES wireless website. Maintain database of phone lines. Assist with wireless audits. Ensure the budgets used to pay monthly bills are kept up to date for each staff member. Update wireless charging information as staff change departments. (10%) * Write procedures for department procurement processes and provide training to staff as required. (5%) * Perform additional duties to assist in Sector operations as needed. Support special projects relating to procurements, property and financial administration as necessary (5%) Note: This job summary and listing of duties is for the purpose of describing the position and its essential functions at time of hire and may change over time. Required Qualifications: * High School graduate or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of administrative experience in one or more key functional areas, such as procurement. * Demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize work. Proficiency in carrying out duties with attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. * Takes initiative and interacts well with different levels of staff with minimal oversight. Desired Qualifications: * Comprehensive knowledge of APL practices and procedures, purchasing, and charging/budgetary guidelines. * Knowledge of and experience with Sector Operations. * Familiarity with Electronic Business Services System (EBSS) and Data Warehouse (DW) * Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance Special Working Conditions: Monitor texts, e-mail, voicemail, and information systems via smartphone and laptop as directed. Occasional inter-campus driving of sector service vehicles. Flexibility to work non-standard business hours and to be on-call to support satellite offices, mission-critical operations, and/or sponsor events. Security: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
