Job Title: Training Specialist, Inside Sales
Department: Inside Sales
FLSA Status: Exempt
This position will work with the Director of Inside Sales and Manager, Sales Training to identify training needs for Insulet's Inside Sales organization. They will engage internal and external experts to develop training modules and needed training content required to effectively increase the knowledge and demonstrated capabilities of intended audience.
Work cooperatively with the Inside Sales Team (Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, and Intake Team) to identify on-going training needs.
Identify and deliver timely responses to changing market conditions and opportunities via WebEx, written communication, conference calls and meetings.
Work with Director Inside Sales, Field Management, Inside Sales Management and Marketing to develop and deliver appropriate workshops at Sales meetings and/or the roll out of new initiatives.
Work with Inside Sales Managers to ensure effective initial training of new inside sales employees.
Conduct CubeRides and reviews to ensure adequate and consistent training and coaching is being done for all new Inside Sales employees. Prepare and deliver coaching feedback in person and by utilizing field coaching reports.
Assist new and experienced Inside sales members with developing and enhancing their product and customer knowledge and selling strategies to increase processes effectiveness.
Develop new hire training curriculum for Inside Sales new hires phase 1 and phase 2 trainings
Recommend and develop and implement annual training and development objectives and programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree; minimum 2 years Training or Sales experience in medical device or healthcare industry; pump knowledge required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Consistent achieving/exceeding sales goals.
Proven track record of performance meeting or exceeding expectations.
