Job Summary:

Effectively performs necessary

work tasks to develop, maintain, and present materials for the purpose of

training and educating employees to support technical training for our Wire and

Cable Department. This will require providing both technical knowledge and

performance based instructional skills in areas such as Hand Soldering,

Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, Acceptance of Printed Circuit Boards,

Harness and Cable Assemblies, Use of Torque and Precision Measurement Tools,

Application of Safety Wire and other related courses as required to meet

functional/program training certification needs. This will also require working

with customers to identify training development needs and resources to support

those needs. This position has daily interface with employees, co-workers,

managers, and Sr. Leadership customers as needed and will require strong

problem solving and communication skills. This is a team environment with both

local and virtual teaming responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

Highly Motivated Self-Starter

Experience with Formal Instructional

Facilitation and Technical Training Delivery

Knowledge of training core processes

Experience with training management systems and

performing training related activities

Experience working with customers/teammates on

training development projects

Support / answer build questions, PD questions,

etc. and assist in training.

Strong project management and organizational

skills

Excellent communication with good interpersonal

skills

Broad knowledge and experience in industrial

based skills, OSHA and ESH regulations and requirements

Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power

Point and Outlook

Desired Skills:

Experience delivering and evaluating training

effectiveness and employee performance Experience Training Soldering Electrical

and Electronic Assemblies to IPC J-STD 001

Experience with IPC-A-600

Experience Training Harness and Cable Assembly

Fabrication to IPC-A-620

Experience with Optical Fabrication and/or

Optical Assembly Manufacturing

Experience conduct Formal Training on Industrial

Material handling Vehicles

Experience Conducting Training in Mechanical

Assembly Programs
