ECI is seeking a Training Specialist to provide the best learning experience using ERP software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.

Our company is growing and creating excitement with our best-in-class ERP products.

The Training Specialist will be responsible for working with customers learning experience using ECI's ERP software package for the Lumber/Building Materials industry. We are looking for a self-motivated professional to deliver virtual and in-person training, correspond with customers, and work within the team to assist with other training needs. This position requires a high level of customer service, presentation, and self-disciplinary skills as you will need to gauge customer understanding and adjust content delivery to meet the needs of our customers. Training Specialists will have the freedom to develop their own training style and be able to provide feedback. Work with the training team to help maintain and improve curriculum content.

This position may be remote office.

Responsibilities:

  • Train on Spruce and RockSolid MAX according to ECi's training curriculum.

  • Contribute to comprehensive software implementations by developing and delivering interactive on-line and in person end-user training.

  • Develop strategic training plans and schedules designed to support the overall team goals.

  • Analyze business processes of client and provide workable solutions for Spruce and RockSolid Max to the business need.

  • Develop/Update written training documentation as needed.

  • Perform other duties including, but not limited to: User conference materials and presentations, team meetings, knowledge base updates, and methodology improvements.

  • Respond to customer inquiries as needed.

  • Organize with the Professional Services team to present and deliver projects on schedule/on budget.

  • Manage administrative tasks including: weekly time sheets, recap reports, and expense reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.

  • Develop complementary training materials that enhance learning options, including manuals, instructor materials, and training videos.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% for multi-day customer engagements, prior travel-related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:

  • Understand common industry business practices in retail sales, eCommerce, B2C, operations, distribution, and finance.

  • Highly motivated, self-managing and a logical, yet creative thinker

  • Possess a strong work ethic.

  • Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to learn new software applications.

  • Strong understanding of current training technology and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Demonstrate ability to deliver training to adult users with various levels of computer experience.

  • Excellent listening, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills for the purpose of customer interaction, curriculum development, and delivery of customer training.

  • Organized to ensure project schedules and goals are met.

  • Demonstrate experience in working in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional training and development experience.

  • Understand ERP application concepts and software usage in the vertical.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus.

  • Experience with Dashboard reporting a plus.

  • Experience with Certinia/SalesForce a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting fields.

  • Alternately, an Associate's degree and 3+ years relevant experience in the industry.

  • Familiarity with the LBMH industry.

  • Training background.
