What You Will Be Doing

As a Training Specialist 2 with the Learning & Development Program within the Division of Personnel, you will be instrumental in:

  • Delivering professional training courses and workshops to all State of Alaska employees using numerous instructional techniques and designs under a variety of circumstances. Instruction is currently delivered both in-person as well as virtually.
  • Creating content (preferably SCORM) that engages learners while allowing them to practice learnings through applied activities and knowledge checks.
  • Being the primary point of contact for our statewide learning management system. This would include, but is not limited to, creating trainings for every level of user, creating and implementing an administrator manual, reporting out data etc.
