Job Title: Training Manager

Job Duties, Responsibilities, Qualifications, and


The Training Manager is responsible for the overall development, coordination, conduct and documentation of the training program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house) for training (GxP, Corporate, Quality).
Choose appropriate training methods or activities (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)
Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
Conduct organization wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
Design and prepare educational aids and materials
Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs
Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors degree in Education, Training, or related field
Certified Compliancewire administrator
Proven work experience as a trainer, facilitator or coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting (5-10 years)
Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
MS Office proficiency

Job Overview Develop and facilitate all customer, technical, sales and parts training for technicians, customers and sales department personnel. Enhance F&M's ability to resolve product problems in an effective manner. Also responsible for overseeing all technical communications with technicians, customers and factory representatives. Develop and facilitate regional training classes within the F&M Equipment footprint. Scope * Reports and Plans submitted timely * Attend Train the Trainers classes at OEM level * Create structured TPK's encompassing structure and function * Perform 80 hours of technical training per technician per year * Satisfactory follow-up on technical issues Key Job Responsibilities * Administration and facilitation of training and training programs to all technicians, sales staff and customers. * Administration and registration of F&M Equipment Company training records. Training records to be updated monthly or sooner. * Development of training programs and TPKs. * Submit training itinerary, pretest and posttest to Training Director. * Primary contact between F&M and manufacturer on technical issues. * Gather all data pertaining to technical/product problems * Interpret information in order to resolve problem * Communicate request to manufacturer to gather information when problem resolution cannot be obtained in information systems * Assist manufacturers in problem resolution * Approve TSI's and forward to manufacturers * Assist F&M Equipment Company technical advisor * Assist service department with diagnostic testing and evaluation at both management and technician level * Be familiar with and use all technical information systems available * Assist in developing diagnostic and repair procedures * Assist in performing failure analysis * Assist IS Department in technology requirements for training and service departments. * Assist all departments with Training as needed.
