Training Manager - RTS-MED
San Antonio, TX
Provides training oversight for all three RTS-MED sites and their support to individual and collective training. Assist site Clinical Training Specialist with medical skills training development in the areas of TC3, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS), and other clinical skills. Supports MRTC Operations in training OC/T Instructors and providing OC/T program advisement. Assists RTS-MED Site Instructors with oversight and resource alignment during CSTX, GM and GR operations. Maintains appropriate records and evaluates the effectiveness of training activities. Maintains documentation on all courses and keeps content relevant through a regularly scheduled program review. Maintains training material relevance through updating to current Medical Doctrine, TTPs, new equipment and mandated training requirements. Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware, software, theater specific training requirements and course proponent lesson plans. Ensure appropriate documentation of training activities per the PWS. Maintain Instructor Certifications and supervise Staff Improvement Program.
Reoccurring program review of courses offered through RTS MED.
Review / Ensure update of all Training Schedules, Lesson Plans, Instructor Manuals, and Course Material.
Monitor ATRRS Course managers and track training scheduled for all resources, staffing, and attendance.
Ensure Training needs of Customer Units are being met by RTS-MED instructors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Four years of recent experience with the Army as a commissioned or senior noncommissioned officer with at least two years of experience on the coordinating staff.
Experience developing training, exercise, and/or contingency plans.
Experience with Army Training Programs and be familiar with all contained requirements.
Must hold valid driver's license.
