What you will do:

As a Manager, Technical Training you will lead a team of Service Trainers and Process Managers Analysts responsible for deploying quality training programs that enable Stryker field teams to create the best integrated OR experience. . In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our commercial business objectives.   • Manages and coordinates operations of the Quality and Training staff and activities within FDA and international regulatory guidelines

  • Develops service enablement and training strategy for ProCare Service

  • Coordinates with other managers and associates to identify critical success factors, develop measurement systems, and implement continuous process improvement methodologies.

  • Designs, develops, and implements comprehensive quality and training programs.

Directs Commercial Operations activities to align with Stryker's Quality System: CAPA, audit program (internal/external), and document control.

  • Assists with the planning and implementation of new programs, services, and products; monitors progress and evaluates results; recommends changes or other action as appropriate.

Maintains and manages department budget.

  • Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops Training staff; manages schedules and workflow.

  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

  • Keeps up-to-date on overall activities of team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.

  • Develops and conducts staff training, conducts performance/merit reviews.

  • Coordinates priorities with associated managers.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an overall training and development plan that addresses the needs and expectations of the organization

  • Partner with leaders to understand training needs for field teams

  • Create an appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of the training plan

  • Monitor and evaluate the training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and provide reporting on progress

  • Identify and provide opportunities for upskilling and ongoing professional development of training staff

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 8 + years of professional work experience required.

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in technical or corporate training or related training experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Able to work with all levels of management.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Able to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

  • Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.

  • Proven leadership and demonstrated proficiency in supervising, coaching, developing, and motivating subordinates.
