Role & Responsibilities
As the Training Lead on our Recruiting Strategy & Operations team, you'll drive the strategic direction of the Recruiting team, while working closely with Recruiting leadership to forecast training needs and deploy training resources. You'll also train, develop and coach Program Managers, Independent Contributors and other trainers for your team. The following responsibilities can be expected:
Conduct needs analyses regarding talent, learning, and development
Proactively identify training needs and adapt to changes related to fast growth
Build a strategic plan for professional skill development -- such as feedback, difficult conversations, priority setting, and emotional intelligence
Find and partner with learning technology vendors
Scope new custom classes and programs
Manage the learning content design process
Host project status meetings and build project timelines
Facilitate classes and practice sessions for employees
Measure the efficacy of learning programs and communicate results to stakeholders
Maintain documentation and library of content
Manage resources and budgets for specific learning programs
Consult with technology teams on functional learning projects
Build relationships with cross functional / non-Recruiting teams within Airbnb to educate them about Recruiting and ensure training opportunities that connect Product and other teams to us
Ensure training team keeps content relevant, up to date, effective and efficient.
Leverage training surveys to analyze and provide recommendations for improvements.
5+ years working in a project management, program management, or operations role
5+ years working in recruiting, human resources, talent development, or learning and development
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with senior leadership
Proficiency in Google Suite and Keynote
Experience facilitating learning through classes or workshops
Excellent teaming skills
Desire and ability to travel to other Airbnb offices
Strong consulting and relationship-building skills
