Job Description:
In support of SUNY Orange's workforce development strategy, the Workforce Solutions unit will support the creation of opportunities focused on providing high-impact solutions to local employers including strengthening their employee's skills and competencies through customized workforce development training and services.
We currently have an urgent specific need for a Certified Medical Assistant Instructor for the upcoming Spring 2024.
Requirements:
Education Required: NYSED Certification
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field OR a Certified Teacher of Medical Assisting with a minimum of three years of teaching experience. The ability to integrate instructional and trade-specific technology to teach students skills, such as conducting hearing and vision screenings, performing allergy tests and immunization, preparing and administering oral and injectable medications, assisting in physical exams, instrumentation, capillary puncture and EKG
