Responsibilities

  • Serves as a training instructor responsible for the direct delivery of instruction or training services.

  • Delivers employee customer service training, conducts new employee orientation training, tracks, monitors, and evaluates mandatory and function-specifictraining.

  • In collaboration with Marketing, tracks, monitors, and evaluates customer feedback.

  • In collaboration with division chiefs and program managers, develops training and job aids to promote employees? business knowledge and situational awareness.

  • Obtains other types of training from outside sources when required and necessary, in accordance with procurement and contracting procedures.

  • Researches cost effective training avenues to support team building, self-paced job specific training, and supervisory and managerial professional development.

  • Assists management in developing opportunities or programs that enhance the professional growth of mid-level and line staff.

  • Maintains records of training scheduled and completed, attendance and student progress.

  • Independently develops, modifies and updates lesson plans and courses pertaining to the subject matter taught.

  • Determines appropriate instructional techniques such as conference, demonstration, lecture, or selfpaced learning programs, on-line instruction, and job aids.

  • Develops visual aids as necessary and/or uses existing material.

  • Conducts surveys to determine an organization?s training needs.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
1.Must have at least one year experience that demonstrated a comprehensive and practical knowledge of the subject area of the position associated with the training assignments.
2.Must possess an in depth knowledge of a wide range of training methods, techniques and tools in order to develop, present and maintain courses.
3.Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
4.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred are those candidates who posses knowledge of Microsoft Access.

Highly Qualified Applicants: Will possess 3 - 5 years of work experience that demonstrated comprehensive and practical knowledge in providing training programs such as customer service training, new employee orientation. (Your resume MUST reflect this experience in order to qualify for the highly preferred criteria.)

Train military users and develop training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with the client and user specifications. Maintain technical and tactical proficiency in software and training support package (TSP) products for multiple Army capabilities. Test and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems through the use of capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events. Analyze and document flaws in system configuration and implement corrections. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, as required. Basic Qualifications: * 2 years of experience with developing, organizing, and maintaining an operator training-focused Training Support Package (TSP) for their assigned systems of responsibility that encompasses new operator and sustainment training for basic operators, system integration, and senior leaders * Experience with using official system program and product manager training products or the commercial software and hardware developer's technical and training material in the absence of a designated program or product manager * Experience with Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) * Experience with Blue Force Tracker (BFT) Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) * Experience with the Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers * Ability to provide operator-level training in a classroom environment in accordance with established TSPs * Ability to monitor student enrollment, update student attendance and academic reports, and prepare records of training activities, student rosters, participant progress, and program effectiveness * Ability to monitor student survey and demographic data for completeness and accuracy * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: * 4+ years of experience with supporting military operations * Experience with mobile simulation deployment and operations preferred * BA or BS degree in a related technical or military field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements to access to classified information.
