The Training and Documentation Specialist is responsible for the documentation of business processes and internal applications. This includes online and offline manuals, in app training plug ins, video guides, and refresher trainings. The incumbent is a subject matter expert in training of new users, refresher training of current users, keeping issued/effective documents up to date with the current releases, and periodic review oversight.
Develop and maintain documents and guides that outline business processes and how to articles for our in-house applications. Maintain the review and updating of existing documents so they are current with the latest release while working on other projects including (but not limited to), creating and writing employee user manuals/guides for internal apps, conducting audits of existing material and assisting with creation of online video guides.
Train current and new employees. Tailor training sessions to each employee based on their specific job function and permissions set by their supervisor.
Pull reports on user activity in app and support queue to identify app problem areas and mediate via training or actual product changes.
A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business or Accounting-related field
A minimum of 0-2 years of related work experience
Must be detailed oriented (e.g. accurately enter data) with the ability to meet deadlines, and handle sensitive/confidential information on a regular basis
Experience with project management applications such as Jira and Confluence
Solid attention to details.
Good interpersonal skills and with the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
Strong written language skills/communication skills.
Must be able to multi-task and adapt well to change
Must be able to work independently to meet departmental/facility goals
Experience with WalkMe preferred
Experience with financial processes and systems is preferred
