The Training Director is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the training program. As a member of the developer experience team, you will lead and grow a team of trainers, curriculum developers, and training operations specialists. You will be responsible for managing and growing the training function at As such, you will become a solution expert and serve as a key link between engineers, product managers, and customers who develop on our platform. You will be expected to interface with customers and represent while collecting requirements and developing training plans that can apply to the ecosystem of users, including internal and external stakeholders.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of success delivering customer focused training in highly technical fields. They will be knowledgeable of modern training techniques and practices. They will excel in high-pressure environments and translate market uncertainties to clear directions for their team. As a leader at, the Director of Training will be broadly knowledgeable about software markets and deeply knowledgeable about technical training.


  • Prepare and conduct technical training programs

  • Assess training needs and certification requirements

  • Create instructor materials (course outlines, training aids, etc.)

  • Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, and other instruction

  • Act as the point of contact for customers and the organization for questions, ideas, and roadmapping

  • Provide a clear vision and mission for the training team aligned with organizational goals

  • Recruit, guide and support team members, guiding them on standards, procedures, tools, etc. Help them succeed in delivering to a consistently high standard.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees in training or technology preferred

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software and training, including leadership roles in training

  • Proven track record of building and managing successful training functions.

  • Familiarity with modern training techniques and design patterns

  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and make independent judgments.

  • Experience in planning and project management
