Scope of the Job

Supports organizational training initiatives through coordination and execution of instructor-led classroom training, online eLearning courses, and company-wide training events. Facilitates employee Onboarding, Hospitality and New Employee Orientation sessions. Serves as Administrator of the company's Learning Management System as well as other web based Training Development programs. Designs and develops new eLearning courses and instructor-led training classes in support of organizational goals. Innovates and maintains quality, functionality and continuity of existing eLearning courses and training material. In charge of production and post-production for live training events. Responsible for Training Development marketing and communication.

Essential Functions

  • Plan, organize and facilitate classroom training, including reoccurring training sessions for Onboarding, Hospitality, and New Employee Orientation. Prepare class materials, coordinate catering, speakers, and facilities.

  • Administration of Learning Management System: manage user accounts, administer mandatory education assignments, provide consultation support for lower level Administrators, troubleshoot and resolve IT Help Desk requests.

  • Design/develop new eLearning courses in support of organizational goals as well as at the request of the Compliance Office, Privacy Office, HR Dept. and Physicians/Residents. Innovate/maintain quality, functionality and continuity of existing eLearning courses.

  • Design/develop new instructor-led classroom training in support of organizational training needs.

  • Administration of web-based TD/HR programs: online employee recognition portal, performance appraisal program, survey programs, department intranet pages, and internal networking system.

  • Record/stream live TD events. Edit video/audio, incorporate graphics and produce high resolution video files for web sharing.

  • Responsible for TD dept. marketing/communication: write articles for the company newspaper, company-wide emails regarding training events, etc.

  • Track training attendance and completion of assigned training, and compile and prepare training metrics.

  • Conduct training needs assessments and analyze training requests to identify proper training solutions.

  • Extract, organize, and analyze data from surveys and evaluations.

Job Requirements




  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to both small and large groups.


  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing.

Education/Training Development

  • Familiar with instructional design and development.


  • Concisely communicate and relate to all levels of the organization, customers and outside agencies.


  • Strong organization skills. Ability to use a HRIS, MS Office Suite, and a learning management system (LMS) at an intermediate level.


  • Ability to coach and train behavior.


  • Proficient with e-learning authoring software and web-based survey, networking, and engagement tools.


  • Requires technical knowledge and ability to learn new systems.


  • Ability to prioritize work, maintain communication and activity logs, analyze data, use logic and reasoning, communicate sensitive information, maintain confidential information, maintain diplomacy during conflict, negotiate, meet deadlines, and use process improvement to manage fluctuating and unpredictable workload.

Data Analysis/Processing

  • Ability to perform analysis, prepare spreadsheets and presentations, and work with existing HRIS in mining data.


Minimum of two years of experience in education, training, communication, or organizational development required.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor degree in organizational development, psychology, human resources, education, sociology, or communications is required.

PHR, SHRM-CP, or nationally recognized coaching or training certification is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Provide direct administrative support to fundraising management teams, e.g. Peer to Peer, Major Gifts, and Strategic Partnerships. * Serve as an initial point of contact for the fundraising team. * Assist the fundraising team with research to identify supporters * Assist the fundraising team to create and prepare internal and external communications, including fundraising document production and donor correspondence. * Input data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and manage database information. * Support projects and fundraising events to develop relationships with potential donors. * Collaborate with fundraising team to evaluate fundraising events success, and the potential for future activities for the various event types and markets. Analyze fundraising event results. Track data and compare against approved event budgets.
