Job Description

Our company needs multiple Training Developers to work on client site in Ft Gordon GA. These individuals will create, modify, and revise course materials associated with current and future training development requirements. Travel is not anticipated for this position.

Essential Duties

  • Develop training support documents, Lesson plans, and Individual student assessment plans

  • Develop Program of Instruction (POI), Practical exercises, Test materials

  • Develop Master Training Schedules (MTS)

  • Assess student performance

  • Resolve difficult student problems (e.g., students with complicated or specialized learning difficulties)

  • Support general training development, as required

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Two (2) years' experience as a training developer for institutional, operational and self-development training

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

  • Minimum two (2) years' experience developing and designing full-length skill-based instructional training material, and experience writing lesson plans using the Adult Learning Model or Experiential Learning Model

  • Minimum one (1) year experience utilizing the Training Development Capabilities (TDC) database, or similar system, used for constructing learning and resource products

  • Advanced writing skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences using Bloom's Taxonomy)

  • One (1) year experience working in automated training development databases such as: Training Development Capabilities (TDC) and Automated Systems Approach to Training (ASAT)

  • Experience with Army-standard desktop applications and configurations, i.e., daily reporting programs, and Army Gold Master (AGM) configurations

  • Graduate of the Common Faculty Development-Developers Course (CFD-DC) or Systems Approach to Training (SAT), Training Development Capability (TDC) Course, or ability to meet the requirements to attend required training within 60 days of contract start date

Additional Eligibility

Qualifications:
  • Active SECRET or TS/SCI security clearance.

Background checks- criminal, civil, employment, and education required. Drug screening in compliance with drug free workplace standards. Must possess and be able to maintain a SECRET or TS/SCI security clearance.

Overview: The Signal Collective Task Training Developer will be responsible for developing unit task lists (UTL) to support development of Collective Training products for annually selected units and the development of collective tasks to support these products. This will include identifying existing tasks in the TRADOC approved database system, researching and identifying collective tasks for inclusion in UTLs, and properly linking tasks within the system. They will also create drafts in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts of all products and upload for review on a bi-weekly basis. Desired Skills: * An in-depth, working knowledge of the current version of the TRADOC approved database system and the current version of CMS Express or TRADOC approved Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) Development Tool. This includes collective tasks development, how to identify for task development, individual tasks, and working knowledge of Army signal operations and procedures. * An in-depth, working knowledge of Unit Training Products, the generation of Force Support for Unit Training Products, Army Unit Task List (AUTL), and unit quality control process. * An in-depth working knowledge CATS interface with Army process and models. * Experience in the collective task role in the training process and in collective task design and development requirements. * Experience in analyzing collective tasks to individual task association. * An in-depth working knowledge CATS development and management process. * Skilled in analyzing what type of CATS event situations are applicable for an element and/or component. * Knowledge of opposing forces (OPFOR) tasks and standards. * Experience in identifying collective task requirements for each Unit type by Echelon. * Experience in creating collective task synopsis report. * Have an in-depth working knowledge of Warrior Training Support Package (WTSP) design and development requirements.. * Experience in the WTSP quality control (QC) requirements. * Experience in analyzing and identifying drill requirements. Education / Experience: * A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Telecommunications Management, or Business Administration, including areas of communications and information technology systems, current and emerging force structure, information assurance. * Five years of military experience in the areas of communications and information technology systems, current and emerging force structure, information assurance, Homeland Defense, NETOPS (ESM/NM, IA/CNS, IDM/CS), digital commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, and unified land operations, to include offense, defense, and stability operations may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. * Proven mastery of software programs from Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
