Job Summary:

(Positions can be located in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa)

The Training Delivery Specialist IV is responsible for delivering formal instructor-led (classroom and virtual) training, facilitating discussions to support the implementation of informal learning solutions, and providing coaching and performance based feedback to employees enabling them to perform the requirements of their roles while maximizing their time to full job competency.

This includes the delivery and facilitation of learning solutions encompassing product, compliance and job specific process knowledge; service and customer retention skills, knowledge of how to use and navigate various systems, tools, websites, etc., employees use daily on the job.

This position primarily serves the Service Organization within Commercial Markets and /or Florida Blue Medicare

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate in person and virtual new hire, remedial, and refresher, and cross-training sessions on a variety of products, systems and job roles that support business area processes.

  • Based on working knowledge of performance objectives associated with multiple job roles, provide coaching and feedback to leadership on progress of an individual learner and / or a group on their ability to best apply knowledge, skills, tools and job processes.

  • Operating independently, provide feedback to the instructional design and development team regarding product content and skill adaptation enhancements aimed at increasing a learner's time to competency and overall performance.

  • Partner with instructional system design and development team to deliver pilot courses and provide feedback on instructional soundness of materials, including assessments.

  • Perform administrative responsibilities, such as student evaluations, daily attendance tracking, classroom surveys, technical troubleshooting in the classroom, and other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant facilitation and work experience or a combination of transferable experience and education defined as one of the following:

o Minimum of 4 years of successful relevant facilitation and work experience.

o Certified Training Assistant (CTA) with 3 years of relevant facilitation and work experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory & principles.

  • Working knowledge of instructional design process (i.e. ADDIE, RAPID) with ability to demonstrate practical application of principles.

  • Working knowledge of instructional design methods (Dick &Carey, MLRK, etc.) with ability to demonstrate practice application of methodology.

  • Seasoned written and verbal communication skills which includes demonstrated ability to facilitate training.

  • Ability to address non routine of requests and/or solve non routine business-related issues.

  • Ability to complete multiple assignments in a compressed timeframe.

  • Ability to work in a fluid environment where business and organizational direction changes occurs frequently.

  • Ability to interpret business related results into actionable items for individual growth and development.

  • Ability to quickly develop business relationships.

  • Ability to provide feedback to elevate the performance level of an individual or team.

  • Travel required

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service, billing and /or claims processing, preferably in a service role in a health insurance related organization.

  • 1 or more years of experience delivering training to front line managers and/or supervisors.

  • Knowledge of Florida Blue health and ancillary products and systems.

  • Industry recognized facilitator certification (i.e. ATD Certification, Achieve Global, etc.)

General Physical Demands:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Additionally, providing CV2 augmentation to strategic and operational-level joint training throughout select Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events will be required. The candidate must be knowledgeable in the integration of all seven joint warfighting functions into training and exercise design efforts. Subject matter expertise incorporates training expertise, JELC synchronization, and programmatic oversight in support of the supported TSOC certification training plan. </p><ul> <li> Provides SOF C2 certification, verification, and validation support to the USSOCOM enterprise through the integration of SD 350-12 requirements into existing TSOC training and exercise programs.</li> <li> Plans, coordinates, and executes SD 350-12-related joint-collective training in support of the TSOCs and select SOF Service Components.</li> <li> Leads, develops, manages, plans, and conducts SD 350-12-related joint-collective education, training, and exercise activities.</li> <li> Provides recommendations on certification exercise (CERTEX) support requirements for all Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) activities to include Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) scripting and execution.</li> <li> Supports the development of exercise and training objectives based upon doctrine, current and emergent threats, defense readiness reporting system reports, lessons learned, operational after action reports (AAR), and analytical research to ensure rapid adjustment to real world Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).</li> <li> Participates in SD 350-12 certification training and exercise related Integrated Product Teams, Operational Planning Teams, conferences, seminars, and workshops.</li> <li> Performs staff assistance and outreach visits to TSOCs and select SOF Service Components to collect lessons learned and improve upon future certification, verification, and validation activities. </li> <li> Identifies deficiencies and performance gaps; provides reports, briefings, and remediation recommendations to improve joint SOF HQ exercise and training programs efficiency and effectiveness.</li> <li> Develops information papers, briefings and other documentation associated with the SD 350-12 certification program.</li> <li> Promote flag/general officer commanders and principal staff members understanding of SD 350-12 requirements and program implementation.</li> </ul><p>WWC Global is a small, woman-owned business providing management consulting services to U.S. government agencies.<br></p><p>At WWC Global, our employees are the embodiment of our success as a firm.
