SUMMARY OfficeTeam is seeking candidates for a TRAINING COORDINATOR position with a local company in East Stroudsburg, PA. In this TRAINING COORDINATOR position, you will be responsible for establishing the training process and completing all requirements for various positions within the company.

This TRAINING COORDINATOR will make sure that company policies and procedures are being properly communicated to all new employees starting with the company.

The TRAINING COORDINATOR will also make sure that continuous audits are being completed in order to comply with any necessary updates or changes. This TRAINING COORDINATOR must have prior experience creating and facilitating safety trainings within a manufacturing environment and has previous forklift experience.

DUTIES Establish training requirements for all positions within the company Develop a training plan, incorporating timelines for additional training and procedures to accomplish training within each department, and company wide Assist in developing new employee and orientation training Maintain schedules and ensure delivery of all Safety and Harassment training, coordinating with each responsible department as needed Maintain and track all required documentation for Lift truck training and licensing, including maintenance of incident logs and re-certification timelines and renewals Conduct regular audits of training requirements for all positions, within all departments to ensure any necessary updates or changes as needed Process and maintain all training records within each employee file Other Training duties and clerical tasks as assigned For more information, please call or email your resume to:

REQUIREMENTS At least 2 years' in training AND manufacturing experience Prior experience and knowledge with development of training programs Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Must have a positive attitude and is self-motivated! Bachelor's Degree preferred, not a requirement

VIEW JOBS 1/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-12T00:00 Position Title: Orientation Coordinator Position Reports to: Terminal Manager Position Summary: Under general supervision, presents company driver orientation sessions daily; communicates with new drivers the history and goals of West Side Transport, what the drivers should expect from the company, and what West Side expects from our drivers. Essential Functions: * Presents company driver orientation sessions daily; schedules department representative members in a most time efficient manner; covers all necessary information needed for new drivers to begin employment with West Side Transport including safety, payroll, maintenance, logs, benefits, fuel, satellite usage, etc.; reviews material in a timely manner in order to maintain scheduled sections; portrays the importance of each subject in order for drivers to understand the true meaning of each policy and procedure; and strives to maintain responsive and attentive drivers throughout the sessions. * Verifies that all application materials have been completed through the Safety department before drivers have left on first work assignments. * Distributes necessary forms and information to each department as needed in order to set-up new drivers for first work assignments. * Evaluates new drivers on driving abilities through road testing in conjunction with the Safety department; and demonstrates necessary driving procedures with company equipment in order to prepare new drivers for specific situations. Assesses classroom behavior and reports any concerns to the HR department and Director of Safety. * Performs local load assignments as requested by the company. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements: Necessary Qualificiations: Two years of driver training or public speaking experience desirable; over-the-road driving experience beneficial; post-high school education in the area of transportation or business desirable; PC experience required. Physical Qualifications: Ability to lift 20 lbs. at a constant pace required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed on load assignments; long periods of standing and speaking required.
