POSITION TITLE: Training Coordinator


Responsible for providing support in administering training and organizational development programs.


Responsible for various Training + Development (T+D) activities with a specific focus on store training, including creating product knowledge videos, flyers, daily briefings, loss prevention training for all field employees, managing enrollments, scheduling and coordinating logistics for our Learning Management System.

Responsible for tracking all current and past training for Field associates and running reports as needed.

Create/update user guides/manuals for training and systems as needed.

Create/update training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, marketing tools/handouts, tips/tools pages and classroom handouts.

Create and maintain calendar for training and high level T+D activities.

Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Find out more: In coordination with and under the oversight of the CRU Training Administrator, the CRU Training Coordinator will assist with the development and production of training programs for departmental personnel representatives. He/she will coordinate the scheduling of training classes and enrollment of students. The Training Coordinator will work with the Training Administrator to prepare all training materials, user guides, and correspondence related to training classes and will serve as a backup to the Training Administrator and conduct training classes in his/her absence when needed. Percentage of Time: 100 Shift Start: 8:00 am Shift End: 5:00 pm Qualifications for Position 13 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Superior skill in writing clear, concise, grammatically and factually correct functional design documents, test scripts, training material and informational articles. Required Skill in speaking clearly and distinctly, using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information to individuals at various organizational levels. Required Experience with writing, editing and preparing communications via internet and/or newsletter in an effective manner. Required Ability to make oral presentations to large groups, to explain payroll processes and procedures. Required Skill in negotiating and exchanging ideas, information and opinions with others to gather information, assess situations and arrive jointly at mutually acceptable decisions, conclusions or solutions. Required Working knowledge of University payroll policies and procedures and general ledger system. Preferred Ability to analyze information or procedures, define problems or objective, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and recognize alternatives and their implications. Required Skill in setting priorities that accurately reflect relative importance of job responsibilities. Required Ability to perform multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously while working independently with frequent interruptions while ensuring accurate and timely completion of assignments, keeping supervisor advised of progress and problems. Required Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Access, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint. Required Ability and judgment to deal with confidential and sensitive information. Required Ability to keep abreast of constantly changing university systems, regulations, policies and procedures.
