Chemonics seeks a training coordinator for the newly-formed International Development Professional Training Hub (InDepth) initiative. The training coordinator provides administrative support to the InDepth team to ensure the organization's home office training and learning needs are met through subject matter expert (SME) engagement, scheduling, event planning, and logistics. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Develops semester-long master training calendars for SMEs to access training course schedules; meet with SMEs once per quarter at a minimum to ensure calendar remains current
Acts as Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for each home office instructor-led training scheduled, including adding trainings to the corporate electronic calendar, providing course-specific links for registration, tracking attendance, and sending out course evaluations
Liaises with SMEs to facilitate effective use of the training toolkit
Inputs ad-hoc non-training events and meetings to the corporate calendar
Troubleshoots any technology, logistics, and/or communications challenges for events, courses, and meetings
Tracks and loans home office training resources to facilitators as needed
Acts as point of contact for home office training challenges, questions, and/or updates to curriculum, facilitators, etc.
Reviews requests for home office training benefits for compliance with internal policy
Manages the Mango Languages account, including users and inputs
Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation and exceeding expectations
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred
Minimum two years of administrative and/or technically relevant work experience in a professional office environment required
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience using Learning Management Systems and scheduling platforms preferred
Demonstrated interest and experience in learning and training program administration, including scheduling, communications, and planning preferred
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and concisely both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
