Chemonics seeks a training coordinator for the newly-formed International Development Professional Training Hub (InDepth) initiative. The training coordinator provides administrative support to the InDepth team to ensure the organization's home office training and learning needs are met through subject matter expert (SME) engagement, scheduling, event planning, and logistics. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops semester-long master training calendars for SMEs to access training course schedules; meet with SMEs once per quarter at a minimum to ensure calendar remains current

  • Acts as Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for each home office instructor-led training scheduled, including adding trainings to the corporate electronic calendar, providing course-specific links for registration, tracking attendance, and sending out course evaluations

  • Liaises with SMEs to facilitate effective use of the training toolkit

  • Inputs ad-hoc non-training events and meetings to the corporate calendar

  • Troubleshoots any technology, logistics, and/or communications challenges for events, courses, and meetings

  • Tracks and loans home office training resources to facilitators as needed

  • Acts as point of contact for home office training challenges, questions, and/or updates to curriculum, facilitators, etc.

  • Reviews requests for home office training benefits for compliance with internal policy

  • Manages the Mango Languages account, including users and inputs

  • Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation and exceeding expectations

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred

  • Minimum two years of administrative and/or technically relevant work experience in a professional office environment required

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems and scheduling platforms preferred

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in learning and training program administration, including scheduling, communications, and planning preferred

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and concisely both orally and in writing

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity

VIEW JOBS 6/20/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-09-18T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY: The National Training Academy's Training Coordinator will be responsible for technical support, public relations, research, and marketing to NCRC's National Training Academy, the Training Center, and will assist with various grants and contracts, the Annual Conference, Summits, and Special Events. The Training Coordinator will report to the National Training Academy Manager and will be responsible for promoting, planning, and executing NCRC's conference, summits, and trainings both virtually and in-person. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage the 3rd Floor Training Center by: * Serving as the NCRC liaison between renters/training providers and NCRC; Schedule and support 3rd Floor Training Center meetings, events, and trainings for NCRC; Responsible for marketing and building capacity of 3rd Floor Training Center; * Responsible for scheduling, and technical support for the Training Center, webinars, trainings, events, virtual, and e-learning platforms; * Manages all events that occur at the Training Center; Travel Coordination: * Process travel request for staff, instructors, and scholarship recipients, and expense reports; Conference, Summits, Events, Trainings: * Planning, scheduling, and support services for all activities of the National Training Academy, Conference, and Summits; * Contribute to strategic planning and growth process; Marketing, outreach, and scheduling support; * Collection and analysis support of evaluation and other data collected to improve or grow National Training Academy services; * Generally, provides strategic planning, coordination, outreach, and marketing support for the Training Center, HCT and other contract and grant projects for the National Training Academy; * Planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel; * Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; * Providing quality customer service to training participants during training programs; * Coordinate with outside consultants with preparing and administering various training programs to include actual training support; Schedules online classrooms and prepares the physical setup for trainings; Compile, organize and maintain records related to participant data for scholarships recipients and training attendees; * Coordinate with Training Manager and Director and staff in planning, scheduling, organizing, and implementing training, conference, event, and summit goals; * Responsible for outreach, branding and marketing of NCRC, NTA, Conference, Summits, etc. by preparing content and design for website and social media sites, and marketing kits. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * This position will require 15% of travel domestically. * Perform other tasks and duties related to NCRC, NTA, Training Center, Conference, Summits, and other activities that are assigned by the Training Director or/and Training Manager. COMPETENCIES: The knowledge, skills and behavioral attributes necessary for acceptable job performance. QUALIFICATIONS: * One years' experience in coordinating travel arrangements. * Two years' experience in a training department, and/or meeting and events coordination and planning.
