Hours: 1st shift. Hours between 6AM - 5PM. Extended hours as needed.

Position Summary

Develop and coordinate a training program for Biological Drug Product Manufacturing department. Position will be responsible for working with site and global training colleagues to develop and implement aseptic training for media preparation, manufacturing support, drug product assembly, filling, and lyophilization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop training program for each functional area within BPM.

  • Determine additional training materials needed for each function.

  • Implement Virtual Reality aseptic training program for BPM.

  • Organize Job Training Checklists within each area.

  • Hold colleagues accountable for keeping training updated.

  • Organize system to ensure all operators are current on aseptic simulations (media fills) and secondary gowning.

  • Provide general training to new colleagues.

  • Provide on-going training programs to existing colleagues.

  • Work with regional and global teams to implement new training programs.

  • Work with other Lincoln training colleagues to ensure consistency across Lincoln Operations

Education and Experience

  • Six years of experience in biological and/or aseptic manufacturing required.

  • Associates or BS/BA degree in biology, chemistry, or related science field preferred.

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

  • Demonstrated understanding of SOPs and cGMPs. Experience working in BPM or ABI production is preferred.

  • Previous experience as an area trainer or lead technician.

  • Demonstrated computer skills.

  • Knowledge of EU/USDA regulations and other regulations pertinent to area.

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently.

  • High level of organizational skills

Physical Position Requirement

Limited potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
