Full Time; Shift Hours and Days vary as needed
Expected starting wage range is $29.64 - $36.63. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing the training calendars for Telecare, both Regional and Corporate, and scheduling venue and vendor support for training events, as well as providing reports on training attendance and required training for compliance. The Training Coordinator also provides administrative assistance to the Director of Opportunity & Development, Director of Clinical Learning and support to the training department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders
Manage instructor schedules, coordinate and schedule live training sessions in all regional training centers
Create, and manage training calendars for all regions including securing venues and coordinating meeting space, food arrangements, shipping training supplies and managing vendor relationships
Liaison to Office Coordinator or key stakeholders at programs hosting training events
Assist in the editing, production, and shipping of instructional materials
Maintain Training Department SharePoint site, send reminders, and update T-net to promote learning opportunities
Develops and maintains procedures for team members, trainers (consultants, subject matter experts)
Manages preparation and revision process of training documents and support materials with SME collaboration
Distributes course catalogs, processes registration and billing; answers routine inquiries regarding courses and schedules
Obtains, assembles, and distributes course materials and teaching aides as required for each type of program
Coordinates and arranges for the use of audio visual and other necessary equipment, finds and arranges for appropriate space and facilities for training, and ensures housekeeping, maintenance, and repairs are taken care of
Orders and manages food and refreshments for all events ensuring best quality and price with least amount of waste
Assists in the set up and take down of events at corporate or as needed
Sends training notifications to participants, informing them about training demands and other important aspects
Keeps records about each training course and prepares reports and statistical summaries
Assist in management of CEs; prepares and distributes training certificates for participants when appropriate
Maintains and may reorder training material, teaching aides, and information on outside programs
Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program
Serves as back up for LMS Administrator to set up events, assist with enrollments, etc. and with maintenance of Relias Accounts
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High school graduation or GED
Three (3) years of experience as administrative assistant or event planning/coordination in any industry
Demonstrated ability in time management, communication, organizational skills
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of projects and tasks
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite including, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English or related field
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite including, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Learning Management Systems experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently twist and do simple grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and occasionally drive.
