Job Description:
The Learning Consultant II delivers workflow-based learning with a focus on client outcomes and best practices to new and existing clients or associates. While delivering learning in Dealer Variable Ops and/or Fixed Ops continually focus on building knowledge of CDK's total solutions across all product areas while demonstrating a highly energetic and passionate learning approach.

Functional Responsibilities:

What it is:

  • Learn and facilitate delivery and implementation of technology-based training

  • Supplements course content and responds to student questions

  • Primary focus is improvement of skills, training on and delivery of Learning Curriculum.

  • Utilize current learning delivery platforms and tools, to effectively deliver training.

  • Adjust presentations to accommodate the needs of the audience

  • Explain the technical complexities of software effectively in a manner that conveys simplicity

  • Address the needs of individual students, without slowing down the entire class

  • It is a role to show how you can facilitate learning for your audiences based on what you know and use or improve the standard training materials provided for you in front of others.

What it is Not:

  • Is not a role to prove how much you know.

  • Not a data dump of your knowledge

Workplace Expectations:

  • Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office applications including Power Point and Word.

  • Work is spent in Learning Delivery both Virtual and Classroom

What to expect in this role:

In this role, you should expect to spend the majority of your time delivering client or associate learning as directed by your leader. These sessions will consist of both virtual and face-to-face Instructor Led training as designed and developed by the L&P Development Teams.

  • You should expect to continually:

  • Expand your solution knowledge and participate in product learning development.

  • Expand your understanding of the industries we serve.

  • Increase your knowledge of adult learning and stay abreast of changes and new approaches.

  • Improve your ability to effectively deliver material in many formats.

Based on requirements of the learning being delivered, you may be required to travel to locations for client or associate delivery.

You should expect to participate in all team meetings and conference calls.

Position Description: The primary responsibility of the Retail Merchandising and Training Specialist is improvement in tire sales productivity through delivery of effective training, merchandising, and event support to Corporate Accounts to drive company sales growth. The RTMS will report to the Manager – Corporate Accounts, who in turn, reports to the Director of Sales – Corporate Accounts. Primary Responsibilities: * Achieve productivity goals by making daily visits to assigned accounts and assisting with training, merchandising assistance, consultation, etc. * Present current ordering opportunities to key retailers. Train them on current websites, ordering procedures, etc. Understand and share relevant programs available to accounts * Develop tire retailing capabilities of assigned key retailers. * Develop new business opportunities by working with district management personnel in the field. * Develop account strategies to increase sales (tent sales, training events, contests, incentive programs, etc.) * Employ business development tools (including Professional Selling Skills) as provided by the Company * Solve customer relations problems relating to any account activity * Keep accurate and timely records of key contacts and field activity with CRM tools provided by the Company * Gather business intelligence and share with field partners and field support center partners * Develop and nurture contacts with tire manufacturer representatives within the territory * Attain call frequency objectives for each location as assigned. * Satisfactory scores on post call surveys. In addition, the RMTS will be evaluated during supervisor ride along visits. * Must master the business development tools (e.g. PSS, CRM, proprietary web portals) as assessed by Training Facilitators. * Demonstrate, maintain, and sustain proper use of the business development tools as assessed in-market by the Manager-Corporate Accounts. * Understand and convey the elements of each of the corporate accounts programs to assigned accounts as assessed by the Managers – Corporate Accounts.
