The Learning Consultant II delivers workflow-based learning with a focus on client outcomes and best practices to new and existing clients or associates. While delivering learning in Dealer Variable Ops and/or Fixed Ops continually focus on building knowledge of CDK's total solutions across all product areas while demonstrating a highly energetic and passionate learning approach.
Deliver a quality learning experience to clients based on guidelines for the position
Consistent and positive client/associate learner interactions
Provide workflow oriented learning and solutions
Collaborate with Learning Development for quality curriculum on new releases
Identify and articulate learning gaps to the Learning Development Team
Continual Personal and Professional Development through delivery technique courses and client interactions/visits
Able to flex to the audience based on the solution you are teaching
Applications Training: Facilitates Basic learning on CDK software products, tools, setups, and processes within guidelines dictated by course outlines.
Gains operating knowledge of assigned products and effective instructional techniques through completion of prescribed training plans and customer visits/interactions
Performs administrative duties and other related duties as assigned.

What it is:
Learn and facilitate delivery and implementation of technology-based training
Supplements course content and responds to student questions
Primary focus is improvement of skills, training on and delivery of Learning Curriculum.
Utilize current learning delivery platforms and tools, to effectively deliver training.
Adjust presentations to accommodate the needs of the audience
Explain the technical complexities of software effectively in a manner that conveys simplicity
Address the needs of individual students, without slowing down the entire class
It is a role to show how you can facilitate learning for your audiences based on what you know and use or improve the standard training materials provided for you in front of others.

Is not a role to prove how much you know.
Not a data dump of your knowledge
Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office applications including Power Point and Word.
Work is spent in Learning Delivery both Virtual and Classroom
Communication with Management
o Attend Team Calls
o Participate in bi-weekly 1-on-1's
o Monthly conference call with L&P Leadership
o Effective associate and client written (email) and verbal communications
Be a Student of the Industry

What to expect in this role:
In this role, you should expect to spend the majority of your time delivering client or associate learning as directed by your leader. These sessions will consist of both virtual and face-to-face Instructor Led training as designed and developed by the L&P Development Teams.
You should expect to continually:
Expand your solution knowledge and participate in product learning development.
Expand your understanding of the industries we serve.
Increase your knowledge of adult learning and stay abreast of changes and new approaches.
Improve your ability to effectively deliver material in many formats.
Based on requirements of the learning being delivered, you may be required to travel to locations for client or associate delivery.
You should expect to participate in all team meetings and conference calls.

The successful Learning Delivery Consultant should expect:
Achieving a "Meets Expectations" or higher rating.
Successful Learning Delivery Consultant I may consider these roles as next steps in their career: LDCII, LDCIII, and LDCIV. After successfully completing a level IV for two to three years, they may aspire to Learning Delivery Supervisor. Consideration for a leadership role will be dependent on tenure, competencies, and performance. You may also find the content design and development aspect of learning intriguing for career growth
