Position Information:
Boone County Family Resources is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of a Full-Time Training and Quality Assurance Specialist to work in a friendly and vibrant work environment. We are looking for a reliable and organized individual who is detail-oriented to join our busy office. If you have exceptional organizational and communication skills and a drive to work in a fast-paced environment then you may be the perfect fit. You must be capable of prioritizing tasks and working with a high level of efficiency. You should be able to communicate professionally and have strong customer service skills.
The Training and Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for both internal and external trainings
Develop and create training content that meets the expressed needs of employees and supervisors
Answers frequently asked questions relative to training requirements and status
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of files and records.
Performs periodic audits of files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provides support to the Training and Quality Assurance department
Assist with agency health and safety assurances including emergency planning, inspections, drills, and review of current best practice standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or one year of experience working with training development
Have a valid driver's license
Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule:
The Training and Quality Assurance Specialist will work a 40-hour work week Monday through Friday, with occasional time on weekends or evenings to complete specific pre-arranged tasks. Once the introductory period is successfully completed, the Training and Quality Assurance Specialist may have the opportunity to work a base schedule with some remote hours.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $18.05/hour. Eligible for merit-based raises at 6 months, 1 year, and annually thereafter.
