The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Training and Quality Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. The person hired for the position of Training and Quality Analyst will engage with our internal HIS staff both remotely and on onsite to facilitate training during new employee onboarding as well as on-demand for existing team members. Here, you will make an impact by:
Introduction, demonstration, and training of users on 3M HIS components and products.
Delivery of live classroom- and web- based training, as well as contribution to asynchronous training
Serve as a stakeholder in ongoing training modifications, updates, and maintenance as you collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as Development, Support, Training, etc.
Leading the creation of a learning data & analytics framework, including creating/enhancing/maintaining reports and data visualization dashboards to identify macro and micro trends
Analyzing data / metrics from multiple systems to help identify key areas that need attention, justify resource utilization, support product lifecycle, and support user experience.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from(completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR a minimum of eight (8) years of Health Care Industry support experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree education requirement
Five (5) years of experience with Physician billing and coding
Experience with Inpatient/Outpatient coding (e.g. ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT)
Experience using a Coding and Reimbursement System (CRS)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with focus on Health Care: Health Information Management, Public Health, Business
Experience with the delivery of live classroom and web-based training, as well as contribution to asynchronous training
Experience with 3M 360 Encompass or 360 Professional or related software
Possess one or more of the following certifications: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist
Location: HIS office or a remote U.S. work location
Travel: May include up to 25%
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
