This position focuses on development of training procedures and policies at the Boulder site, aiming to improve current training methods and provide qualified and prepared personnel.
The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for developing, improving and maintaining training materials in a variety of media formats including written SOPs, videos, work instructions and other written documents.
In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining documentation records to ensure policies are up-to-date and compliant with 21 CFR 111. The Training and Development Specialist also administers training to CW Hemp employees using various instructional methods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish, develop and improve training procedures, practices, policies and programs
Design, create, develop and maintain training manuals, learning modules and course materials
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews and consultations with stakeholders
Produce videos for internal personnel training use
Coordinate and orchestrate guest speakers and/or instructors for training
Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating training session enrollment
Research and compile data such as time-studies and FDA simulations for procedural improvements
Develop and maintain training documentation records
Administer training to employees using various instructional methods
Establish, revise and implement SOPs to reflect current cGMP practices
Create and produce SOP training films
Establish, develop and improve processes and workflows at the Boulder site
Improve and develop documentation control procedures to remain 21 CFR 111 compliant
All other responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum one year training and/or management experience
High school diploma; BA or BS graduates from an accredited four year university preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
Minimum of one year working experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
One year video production experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects independently
