The Training Analyst will play an integral part in this training project from the very beginning. The role will participate in the planning and execution of instructional and/or research assignments. This position may conduct needs assessments and development of measurement instruments for instructional assignments. The Training Analyst engages in professional training evaluation services in support of organizational and departmental training initiatives.


  • Reviews and evaluates system design, processes and procedures to ensure the training needs of the organization are being created and fulfilled.

  • Works directly with technical teams of developers to ensure the system flow works well for end-users.

  • Understands the design of the system to help the training team create and facilitate training.

  • Analyzing technical documentation and translating into functional views to non-technical end users.

  • Consults with senior instructional staff to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints.

  • Assists with the creation of the training systems procedural manuals and supporting documentation in accordance with organization and departmental requirements.

  • Supports and participates in the instructional program training and evaluates training review criteria.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Instructional Design, or Business or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5 years of related experience in Business Analyst or Training Analyst role

  • Experience with large system implementations

  • Experience creating and/or facilitating training

  • Experience working with technical staff to ensure smooth transition from design, development/implementation to training

  • Must be able to:

o conduct extensive research to learn about end users and the system being implemented

o work independently with little supervision

o work collaboratively with development and training teams
