Atlas Research is assisting a federal civilian agency with the implementation of a large-scale financial COTS solution. The ideal candidates will have expertise and experience working with or for federal agencies as trainer on ERP implementations with high visibility and/or enterprise-level projects, programs and initiatives.
Scope
The Trainer works closely with and supports Federal agency clients in the planning and implementation of major organizational transformation initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Trainer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborating with delivery teams to develop technical and functional training materials
  • Demonstrating strong understanding of materials to implement initial and ongoing training through each phase of project engagement
  • Presenting training programs using various delivery methods (both in-person and virtual)
  • Conducting training on IT software, hardware, systems and networks
  • Aligning business requirements with training documentation
  • Working with clients to understand current and future state business processes
  • Developing an understanding of how future state business processes mean for the end user
  • Communicating how business processes may change
  • Documenting post engagement training materials into delivery standards that are maintained for use in future engagements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study (such as Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, STEM, Analytics, Information Technology) from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience developing technical and functional guides specific to project processes and procedures
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience with technical training specific to project phases on engagements
  • Ability to identify, develop, and implement best practices specific to project engagement methodologies
  • Create, manage, and support document library which will house training and best practice templates
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify, resolve, and train colleagues on engagement process and procedures
  • Strong documentation and training skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong skills in MS Office Products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship indefinitely
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university
  • Agile project management methodology training
  • Familiarity with project management and process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Experience with financial SaaS or cloud-based solution implementations
  • Experience with Momentum a plus
