The Trainer, Sales Enablement is responsible for aiding in the advancement in enabling of our sales force. This includes onboarding of new representatives, ongoing training of existing representatives, targeted training and coaching for underperforming representatives, and development & management of enablement content. BlackLine's sales team is global and multi-channel. This position will support both direct sales as well as supporting our internal partners.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance to help enablement of sales representatives. * Make support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions. * Understand sales needs and develop training and education assets to enable the customer-facing teams to accelerate time to revenue and beat the competition. * Provide subject matter expertise: Accounting, Accounting Complexity and Processes, F&A Groups and Responsibilities, BlackLine Product Expertise, Technology Landscapes & Integration * Create new sales training content and update and integrate existing training content from different sources. * Constantly seek to evolve and refine the sales enablement process based on feedback. * Enable alignment of sales enablement activities with key internal and external events. * Aid in the development of methodology, processes, and best practices to streamline and improve sales enablement. * Develop individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources, providing coaching, conducting training sessions, and developing outcome improvement resources. * Accomplish sales training and organization mission by delivering related results as needed. * Establish on-going and effective communication with sales team members and management. * Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Ability to translate concepts, summarize and communicate complex ideas, and clearly articulate business value with a good sense of how sales professionals think, operate, and absorb training. * Experience with learning methodologies: deliver the right content to the right audience at the right time. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). * Highly professional written skills. * Able to deliver high value technical content that is sales consumable. Ability to translate understanding of the F&A environment BlackLine sells into. * Results and success-oriented with strengths in problem solving and development of solutions to assist sales team. * Ability to understand strategic direction and goals of the Sales Org & support processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives. * Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner. * Adaptable and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change. * Experience with enablement related to financial technologies/software is highly preferred. * Cornerstone, Success Factors and StoryLine experience is a plus. * Experience in the F&A Space &/or experience with the BlackLine Application * Working knowledge of ERP Landscapes * Training Certifications Preferred: i.e. Master Trainer from ATD* CPA, is a plus * Project Management Certifications, is a plusRequired:*
  • * Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Accounting/Finance Experience * Ability to travel; once per month on average * Willingness to continue education & seek certifications to increase SKA's within Sales EnablementPreferred:CPA or equivalentExperience Training Teams
