As a Trainer, you will be responsible to cast a leadership shadow by living our core values to new and tenured employees in the organization. The learning efforts you support will include traditional instructor - led, virtual, and blended learning strategies. In the role of Trainer, you will apply innovative and creative learning strategies including but not limited to: role - playing, demonstration, guided and enhanced practice, and documented procedures leading toward effective and efficient learning. In this role, you may assume various responsibilities including project management, documentation writing, and training design. Regardless of role, your primary goal is to ensure learning transfer occurs and to successfully address performance gaps.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works in an agile environment by responding to unpredictability through incremental, iterative work processes

  • Supports innovative learning solutions that focus on the needs of the learner

  • Participates in the planning, development, and evaluation of learning solutions in support of our audience

  • Acts as a leader and maintains professionalism in all interactions with learners and business leaders

  • Facilitates classroom, virtual, and blended learning to varied audiences within multiple skill sets

  • Actively participates in the design and process documentation processes by providing content / documentation feedback, and may serve as a content gatekeeper ensuring content feedback is implemented

  • Mentors and develops delivery support staff provided by business partners locally and nationally

  • Successfully demonstrates and maintains professional and facilitation skills for various delivery methodologies

  • Builds collaborative partnerships with peers, others in Learning Solutions and with business partners

  • Researches and applies learning industry best practices

  • Other duties can include documentation writing and training design

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 year of coaching and / or training facilitation experience

  • 2 years of experience facilitating training via WebEx (or similar virtual application)

  • Exceptional professional communication skills, and demonstrated ability to lead and engage a variety of classroom audiences

  • Ability to travel up to 100% (May - Aug)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare knowledge

  • Some training design and documentation writing experience

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem - solving and fact - based decision making abilities

  • Strong time management, planning skills

  • Experience in project management, planning skills and working on multiple projects at a time

  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drives for results individually and in a team setting

  • Generally work is self - directed and not prescribed. Works with less structured, more complex issues

  • Serves as a resource to others

  • Can work through ambiguity

  • Bachelors or higher level degree
