WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN

This position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic trainer who loves to work with people, is comfortable presenting to large groups, and is passionate about training and development. This position is dedicated to supporting our Customer Experience team, with a focus on training and onboarding all new hires as well as supporting the existing training staff with any additional trainings for our CX team members.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU

  • Be an expert on our product and Customer Experience process

  • Train and onboard all new hires

  • Meet and adapt to the needs of a variety of learners

  • Assist during training incubations and transition to the floor for new hires

  • Update and improve our existing training materials

  • Utilize our data/metrics to identify training gaps

  • Provide insights on training and development as our programs continue to evolve

  • Be a team player and support the CX management team with ad hoc projects

  • Create ongoing content to support company initiatives and seasonal updates

  • Assist with e-learning and job aid creation

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 1-2 years experience in a customer experience related position

  • 1-2 years experience in training & development

  • Strong communication, training, and analytical skills

  • Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and follow through on projects

  • Passionate about customer experience and helping others

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Zendesk

Job Description: * Reports directly to Sales Manager * Assist Sales Manager in training New Home Sales Counselors * Train newly hired Sales Counselors in salesmanship utilizing Jeff Shore training methods * Evaluate Sales Counselors interacting with customers and conduct skill gap analysis * Training must result in an increase in overall performance of our sales team * Implement training curricula for sales team members approved by the Sales Manager * Report to the Sales Manager the Sales Counselor process through role playing, training, and observation. * Produce physical and digital educational material (e.g. videos) * Provide Sales Manager with weekly planned encounter schedule * Report on impact of training programs (e.g. sales achieved) * Maintain updated records of training material and curricula * Ensure compliance of corporate sales policies and procedures Qualifications * Minimum 5 Years New Home Sales experience; previous training experience is a plus * College degree preferred * Knowledgeable and experienced in Jeff Shore training material * Comfortable role playing with both inexperienced and experienced Sales Counselors * High energy and positive personality with ability to create positive training environment * Conduct skill gap analysis to identify areas of improvement for recommendation to the Sales Manager * Fastidious attention to detail and excellent organizational skills * Solid communication and presentation abilities * Workdays are Tuesday - Saturday * Salary plus commission MHI Austin TX
