Butler Aerospace & Defense is seeking an experienced trainer to develop video training for an ASE control actuator.
Scope of Work
The vendor shall prepare and deliver ASE Control Actuator training in a video presentation format. The video shall include instruction on each of the elements listed in the Alphabetical Index at the front of WP 029 00.
The video will be self-contained and intended for an audience of trained electro-hydraulic technicians in a remote intermediate maintenance facility that has all the required tooling, fixtures and parts.
The video is produced as a self-learning video that does not require an instructor to be present for learning to take place.
Training will include:
Video of presentation slides with instructor audio for description and principles of operation.
Hands on video with instructor/technician audio of workshop processes including: i.
Test and Troubleshoot
Package and Preserve
Student workbook in Adobe Acrobat format
Student test in Adobe Acrobat format
The vendor shall have access to the technicians and workshop facility at Customer facility for both research and video production.
The vendor shall have access to an ASE control actuator.
Customer will make every effort to have personnel and items of equipment available to the vendor at an opportune time. As Customer is an operational campus, some availability may be impacted by operational needs and will be negotiated by mutual agreement.
Illustrations in WP 029 00 are created/modified in Corel Draw 2017, Version 126.96.36.1999. Some legacy illustrations may be in raster format. The vendor will have access to these illustrations as requested.
Vendor may make requests for source data through the liaison person for this contract.
The vendor is expected to apply Customer Quality Procedures to the product before delivery to Customer for review. Documentation of Customer's checklist shall be provided back to Customer.
All files and source data (ex. Documentation, Engineering drawings, Corel files, etc.) created, revised or used by the vendor shall be provided back to Customer upon completion.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time Exempt position requiring a 40-hour work week.
Occasional overtime and possible weekend work are also required to meet customers' needs.
