Responsibilities
This is an entry-level position for the Lovelace Medical Group Education Department.
Oversees the training and education of all the Lovelace Health System outpatient clinics. We offer education for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
The trainer will be training and educating the non-clinical staff and teaching non-clinical classes. Classes are pre-built and constructed.
Classes to include, but not limited to, concepts and topics such as: HIPAA compliance, hand washing, communication, customer service, patient experience, precepting, learning styles, teaching styles.
Much of this role is task-oriented. Tasks will include checking tracker for new hires, creating folders with necessary documents for new hires, creating and distributing newsletters and flyers, assisting staff in utilizing computerized mannequins for CPR skills check off, updating mannequin software, mannequin maintenance, creating power point presentations, utilizing learning management system to ensure education compliance. Will be trained to fit test employees for N-95 masks per OSHA requirements.
This role works closely with non-clinical and clinical staff in all ambulatory clinics, works closely with LMG support services as well as other members of Lovelace Health System. Professional and collaborative attitude and behaviors are a must.
This position requires the ability to work by oneself as well as collaboratively with a team. Must be very well organized, detail focused, and able to multi-task.
Role will require that one has strong communication and problem solving skills with ability to teach others how to effectively work through difficult situations.
This role will support the training and education needs of non-clinical staff through all the Lovelace Medical Group ambulatory clinics.
The education department is growing and improving at a fast pace. This role will require one to be flexible with work duties, able to adapt to a changing environment with change in duties and processes, a willingness and ability to grow, ability to take constructive feedback and criticism, contribute new, creative, and innovative ways to use technology and resources to deliver high quality, effective education.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High school diploma
Two (2) years of healthcare experience, or hospital.
Strong organization and follow-through skills
Strong presentation skills.
Experience with creating presentations and with Microsoft Power Point
Experience with creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
Education
A Bachelor's degree in training and development, leadership development, or organizational development is preferred.
