ESSENCE OF THE ROLE
The essence of this role is to load, unload, and move materials within and between the Distribution Center and trucks/containers at the Loading Dock and outside staging
area. Also, as needed, loaders will assist Shipping Order Assemblers preparing all finished products by palletizing and packaging all parts and clearly documenting transactions to ensure shipment quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Requires an individual with self management skills, who is able to handle multiple tasks
Follows safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment wearing PPE as needed.
Operates the fork lift truck in a manner that promotes safety and safe handling of product.
Loads trucks and stages product in accordance to standard practice and/or verbal instructions from the Shipping Coordinator.
Loads materials into/onto vehicles in a manner that will minimize the risk of damage or shifting during transit.
Follows Standard Work for processes involving staging, scanning, loading and keying out jobs.
Follows instructions with minimal supervision.
Provides support for the department and ensures jobs are loaded in a timely manner.
Ensures all requested paperwork is properly completed.
High school diploma or GED required
Good communications skills to understand in order to relay the expectations and needs of our customers
Maintains a dependable and predictable work attendance and productivity record, with very infrequent tardiness or absence from work
Flexible and able to work 10 hour days for a 4-6 month period
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds independently or from 50-100 pounds required as a two person lift.
