Traffic Equipment Product Support

The Traffic Equipment Product Support provides technical field support of all Iteris solutions offered in Texas including but not limited to Detection, Controllers and ITS equipment. This position will require the employee to Install program and troubleshoot Iteris and Yunex ITS equipment at the customer site as-well as remotely.

What you will be doing:

• Support the configuration of Iteris detection and other Signal - ITS devices

• Support the maintenance and repair of Iteris detection equipment and ITS equipment overall that is managed through a maintenance/services contract

• Ability to work in and around bucket trucks and work in roadways

• Job is expected to be 90%+ in the field and overnight travel might be required depending on the location and duration of a project or job duration

• Provide troubleshooting on-site and phone support when needed

• Support the installation and setup of 3rd party ITS equipment including, but not limited to PTZ cameras, Comnet switches, Meyers battery back-up, Mobotrex NEMA/33X/ATC cabinets; Provide training on support equipment; travel within the South East Region typically >75% of work time

What you need to be successful in this role:

• IMSA Level III certification or ability to obtain

• IMSA Work zone safety certification or ability to obtain

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as be self motivated

• 5 years minimum experience working with ITS equipment either for a manufacturer of ITS equipment or working at a municipality- Contractor in that capacity

• Excellent communications skills

• Acceptable driving record

• Minimum of 5 years of field-level technical support of intersection traffic equipment (cabinets, controllers, detection, peripherals)

Iteris anticipates paying between $72,000.00 and $80,000.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
