We are seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Duluth, GA team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide traffic engineering support for various projects including corridor studies, interchange feasibility studies, traffic impact studies, transit studies, safety improvements, signal warrants, and signal maintenance requests. Work with junior staff to become proficient in traffic engineering capabilities by providing technical guidance and oversight. Position leads to project management which includes responsibility for budgets, schedules, and delivery of stand-alone signal designs, traffic studies and traffic analysis or sections that are part of the Pre-construction design projects.

• Perform tasks related to traffic capacity analysis, signal timing, signal warrants, and corridor safety studies.

• Development of plans, specifications, analyses, evaluations, maps, procedures, and reports.

• Review of analytical data and quality assurance documents and processes, conduct site work as required

• Prepare new traffic signal designs for intersection improvement projects, arterial and freeway ITS designs

• Handle signal design capabilities for design build projects

• Responsible for utility coordination on all signal design projects

• Prepare signing and marking for design projects

• Coordinate and handle signal and railroad permits, elements of concepts reports

• Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients as assigned.
