SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversees the traffic and receiving clerks and ensures receiving of the pratt.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
Assumes accountability of all inbound material.
Ensures proper storage procedures are followed.
Coordinates storage, consolidation and retrieval of material to allow maximum utilization of space.
Reports daily and weekly attendance.
Ensures timely unloading of inbound material to avoid any detention charges.
Ensures proper material flow from receipt to storage and storage to production.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Prioritization and organizational skills
Problem-solving and communication abilities
Ability to use SBT system as related to distribution and receiving
Ability to demonstrate full knowledge of locating system
Ability to direct work of others to meet customers' needs
Ability to use scales in receiving material
