Traffic - Coordinator

SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

Oversees the traffic and receiving clerks and ensures receiving of the pratt.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

• Assumes accountability of all inbound material.

• Ensures proper storage procedures are followed.

• Coordinates storage, consolidation and retrieval of material to allow maximum utilization of space.

• Reports daily and weekly attendance.

• Ensures timely unloading of inbound material to avoid any detention charges.

• Ensures proper material flow from receipt to storage and storage to production.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Prioritization and organizational skills

• Problem-solving and communication abilities

• Ability to use SBT system as related to distribution and receiving

• Ability to demonstrate full knowledge of locating system

• Ability to direct work of others to meet customers' needs

• Ability to use scales in receiving material
