Position summary:
Join our team as a Traffic Control Technician and play a key role in keeping everyone safe! You'll manage traffic through work zones, ensuring that drivers and workers are protected. Tasks:
Performs traffic control and flagging activities as needed; follows safety rules and regulation on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing and removing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices; duties may vary according to job assignment.
Operates pickup (not requiring a commercial driver's license), and miscellaneous hand tools in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures, conducts routine equipment maintenance and daily equipment inspections according to OSHA and DOT standards.
Reports safety hazards and traffic problems.
Performs manual labor assignments as needed. And all other duties not otherwise specified.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
