JOB SUMMARY: Design and create traffic control plans to meet specific needs of customer using a variety of mediums to achieve desired effects. This is a production position requiring hands on knowledge and usage of tools and equipment to produce finished products.
Design Traffic Control Plans for Temporary Traffic Control projects using CAD software (Rapid Plan)
Submit Traffic Control Plans to contractors and authorities for approval.
Assist dispatch department with scheduling upcoming work and communicating with customers.
Perform other work related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor or equivalent.
Computer experience in Auto Cad & Rapid Plan highly desired.
Knowledge of MUTCD standards and local government temporary traffic control requirements.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Understand and follow instructions as given.
Work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be organized, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
