We are currently looking for a Tasker to join our 2nd shift team!?

This position will be responsible for but not limited to:?

?

Role Purpose:?

The primary duty of this position is to expedite transactions through the warehouse management system. Taskers provide information and resolve issues with customers, carriers, and warehouse associates. The role may support the outbound, inbound or parcel functions.??

Key Accountabilities:?

??

• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.?

• Understand and utilize system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.?

• Work closely with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts and damages causing inventory issues.?

• Manage the scheduling of inbound carriers and the outbound shipping schedule by updating appropriate communication methods.?

• Generate and utilize system reports and audit sheets to evaluate the shift progress.?

• Communicate directly with the carrier(s) to insure seamless physical and systematic transactions.?

• Oversee exchange of parcel shipments from shipping dock to carrier's truck.?

• Resolve data transmission failures/errors with customer's IT and procurement teams.?

• Interface with IT contacts in event of system-related barriers.?

• Ensure complete communication for turn of shift.?

Required Education and Experience:?

• Six months warehouse experience
• 0-1 years' experience in data entry and/or dispatch, preferred?
• Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel, preferred.?

• Wages at $21.00 per hour with an annual increase possible?

• Shift differential of $0.75 per hour

• Work schedule:

Monday-Friday 215p-1030p

• Paid Weekly?

• Overtime available based on customer volume?

WHAT WE SEEK:?

• We are seeking applicants with a minimum of 6 months - 1-year consistent experience

• Data Entry

• Excel required

• Looking for people with material handling equipment experience a plus

• Multi-taskers that work with a sense of urgency

• Solid attendance and punctuality, desire to cross train

• Previous forklift experience preferred?

• Must be detail-oriented, and a team player?

Role Purpose:

Responsible for scheduling truck deliveries and pick ups

Works closely with customer service, client representatives, and representatives and drivers of trucking firms to achieve and maintain high service levels

Coordinates drivers, equipment, and freight

Ensures that all shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time

Key Accountabilities:

• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities.

• Meet or exceed all service and efficiency standards for shipping and receiving.

• Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving (B.O.L.) documents.

• Handle all customers and customer representatives at the dispatch window.

• Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.

• Maintain legible and accurate records and logs as required.

• Assist in training new associates.

• Assist in maintaining facility security.

• Maintain the facility dock door control board to be accurate at all times.

• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self -corrected to the warehouse supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area in accordance with company standards of housekeeping.

• Conduct yourself in a polite and service oriented manner towards customer representatives and fellow associates.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1 year experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
