The Trading Systems Administrator, Senior Analyst
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Trade Support
Serves as subject matter expert on Bloomberg AIM and future trading systems modules to troubleshoot issues, enhance functionality, and train users.
Supports trade order lifecycles from receipt through to settlement and reconciliation.
Executes workflows for timely delivery of position, security, and transaction data.
Supports fixed income and equity settlement blotters and workflows.
Assists with and performs account administration across multiple applications, including account setup, user setup, and maintenance.
Data Support
Supports Bloomberg Gateway (GNET) workflows that execute the receipt and delivery of critical transaction, security and position based data, including batch file delivery and ODBC connections.
Assists compliance teams with audit and reporting requirements including regulatory mandates.
Supports benchmark and data delivery through the PORT toolkit.
Assists both pre and post trade compliance teams with CMGR/VMGR/BVAULT modules.
Business Systems Analysis
Assists with and identifies/analyzes recurring challenges to develop process improvements.
Works cross-functionally to define new requirements and features.
Supports integrated middleware, applications, and user interfaces in conjunction with Bloomberg and future trading systems.
Assists with and researches, analyzes, and resolves daily issues impacting trading systems performance, workflows, and reports.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Required Education
Required Experience
system administrator or experience in trading, trade support, compliance, or related experience (Senior Analyst)
administrator or experience in trading, trade support, compliance, or related experience (Associate)
Required Registration, Certification, Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Bloomberg AIM (incumbent OMS)
Experience with financial reporting and data & analytics
Experience with modern data analytics tools like Power BI, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Data Lakes, etc.
3+ years of SQL experience
In-depth knowledge of buy-side order/trade flows and financial instruments
Strong communication and analytical abilities
In-depth familiarity with major OMS/EMS platforms like Blomberg, SimCorp, FlexTrade, TradeWeb, FXConnect, CRD, SS&C, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of:
Technology workflows, databases, and processes
Modern data analytics tools like Power BI, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Data Lakes, etc.
Buy-side order/trade flows and financial instruments
Bloomberg AIM experience (incumbent OMS)
Skills in:
Experience with financial reporting and data and analytics
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Tools
Ability to:
Support multiple internal clients
Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, agency staff, vendors, contractors, and other external customers.
Work effectively in a professional team environment.
