A startup fintech Broker/Dealer is looking to add an energetic player to its Network Engineering team. We create and operate securities trading venues to reduce friction in trading. Our core product, IntelligentCross ATS, is a new US equities venue that uses machine learning to minimize market impact and adverse selection the key implicit costs of trading. We are practitioners - traders, analysts and engineers from "the trenches" of trading in the markets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Network Engineers focus on operating the infrastructure of the trading platform, building tools and optimizing the system. It's the team that designs and runs the communication backbone of the system.

Requirements

Ideally you'll have:

  • Experience supporting a trading platform in a colocated environment
  • Comfortable in a Linux environment
  • Expert knowledge of networking
  • Experience with Market Data is a plus
  • Working knowledge of xconnect in data centers (LOA, BGP, NAT)
  • Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc)
  • Basic Python and shell scripting
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms

Qualifications Required: * Bachelors' degree (preferably business, finance or accounting) * 0-2 years of relevant experience * Positive customer service attitude and dedication to quality, with a demonstrated attention to detail * Proficient in standard office-productivity tools (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
