Job Description Job Description The trade show operations intern will assist the operations team with preparing for IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities to include:

Assist in responding to exhibitor inquiries via telephone and email. Sending emails to exhibitors and members with important information, reminders for required form submission, collecting materials due, etc. Liaising with vendors to ensure fulfillment of their services at the Expo such as coat/bag check, charging stations, scooters, and more.

Creating and ordering department forms. Assisting with reviewing and updating department documents such as the Team Manual, on-site materials. Assist with ordering supplies.

Lead the office shipment. Other duties as assigned. Educational benefits:

The intern will gain valuable event management experience by being part of the team to plan and on-site execute of one of the top 25 largest trade shows in the United States. They will have hands on operational experience, as well as the benefit of seeing how all departments work together to execute a successful event. Schedule: The intern position is a paid part-time paid position. They will work 20-30 hours weekly beginning August 2024 in the IAAPA Orlando Headquarters office as well as full-time during the expo, Nov. 14-22, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center.
