About the Team

The Trade Sales Support team supports key processes and functions essential to the Business Sales Division at Williams-Sonoma, providing front line assistance to both Trade customers as well as our regional Trade & Contract Account Executives.

About the Role

In the role of a Trade Sales Support Associate, you will deliver highly personalized customer service to Williams-Sonoma, Inc. national Contract and Trade customers by phone and email. This includes answering inquiries, fulfilling requests, entering and processing orders, resolving customer order issues, and providing an overall superior level of service to all Trade & Contract customers. You will be entering orders and maintaining accurate records within Salesforce.

  • Greet customers by phone and email, delivering prompt and exceptional levels of customer service at all times.

  • Process transactions and other operational procedures accurately and efficiently within Salesforce.

  • Provide sales support to Trade & Contract Account Executives by generating quotes, assisting in the processing of sales, and fielding questions.

  • Identify customer needs and assist with product selection by providing appropriate product choices, related items, and additional information as needed.

  • Complete customer order entry efficiently and accurately. Analyze and communicate product estimate ship dates.

  • Provide customers with follow-up service including; status checks, change orders, damaged, and displaced orders.

  • Provide exceptional level of service by responding to concerns and questions politely and accurately, and represent Williams-Sonoma Inc. with integrity in all interactions.

  • Provide appropriate product feedback to managers or via other established process on trends, customer requests, product performance, and inventory issues.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have...

  • 2-3+ years of experience working in a sales or a Customer Service environment.

  • A minimum of a High School diploma (required), with higher education level preferred.

  • You have strong organizational skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent speaking, writing, reading comprehension, and active listening skills.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers/clients/business partners.

  • You are comfortable multi-tasking, utilizing various computer systems concurrently, in a fast-paced work environment.

Technical Competencies required:

  • Experience using business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel and Word.

  • Prior software experience / knowledge in Salesforce (or other CRM system), and MS AX (DAX) highly preferred.
