VIEW JOBS 11/5/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-03T00:00 Job Description Responsibilities: Technical Support * Provide first level and first class support answering both Options and Equity platform questions and resolving Member/TPH issues related to APIs (e.g. FIX, BOE, PITCH), trading and features/function using the "Deliver Plus One" standard * Provide timely and professional outbound communications (internal and external) servicing the Trade Desk email queue and providing customer phone support * API Certification testing * Logical port creation and modification of default settings * Provisioning internal/external user web tool access * Testing/understanding changes to systems and functionality prior to deployment Trading Support * Equity Listings process management (i.e. ISRA symbol reservations, notifications, active monitoring of IPO/new issue auctions) * Service manual Cancel Order from Members/TPHs * Clearly Erroneous and Obvious Error reviews * Voluntary price adjustment management * Clearing/trade bust/adjust support * Data mining and research Operational System Monitoring * Perform daily system startup/shutdown checks * Review Audit Logs to verify system changes * Daily Open/Close/Halt auction monitoring * Monitoring and active management of outbound routing * Self Help procedures * Options Product Support (i.e. new listings, maintenance, replacement, validation, and de-listings) * Options PMM assignment updates * Equity/Options Intermarket Incident Calls (monthly tests) Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess: * Equivalent of Bachelor's degree or higher * Ability participate in weekend testing as required * Two to five years' experience in a securities related or technical support position * Proficiency in Windows and Linux desired * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills * Vigorous desire to learn Cboe technology and to be an SME * Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and 57 licenses (or equivalent) or ability to obtain in 12 months * Ability to work well in a dynamic team oriented environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Chicago Board Options Exchange Lenexa KS
