SUMMARY:

This position will support all aspects of the Company's Trade / Channel operation to improve reporting efficiency, enhance the company's channel economics with analytics and insights, and maximize strategic opportunities in launching and building novel pharmaceutical brands within the distribution channel. It will report to the Vice President, Trade & Market Access and will be responsible for building foundational reporting processes and systems, serving as the point person between Trade and Finance, and provide periodic and ad hoc reporting & analysis for the company's distribution sales. This position will create and publish reports based on traditional performance indicators (for example, sales performance by channel vs plan, period over period growth, etc.) to all levels of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Standardizing and automating Channel / Finance reporting via application of analytical tools resulting in relevant and actionable insights

• Managing channel customers ordering and payment behaviors to ensure optimal product inventories

• Monitoring channel partner ordering through monthly inventory reconciliation

• Collaborating with Regional Account Manager team to ensure appropriate reporting processes have been established for the RxConnect network

• Standardizing channel partner performance metrics and scorecards with a focus on maximizing customer inventory levels

• Writing SQL queries to pull data for reporting

• Building periodic and ad hoc distribution reporting and analysis. Publishing these reports to internal organization teams (e.g., Executive Management)

• Creating product launch dashboards that align to internal launch channel specific KPI's

• Assemble ongoing reporting to measure performance against Channel KPIs from the Trade / Channel annual business plan

• Creating & maintaining documentation of distribution reporting processes and publishing calendars

• Collaborating with and supporting recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs for commercial stakeholders in Operations, Commercial Analytics, Channel Strategy, Marketing, and Finance

• Presenting insights to sales and executive leadership teams

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Skilled multitasker with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational, analytical, communications, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to approach tasks with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, MS Access, and SQL; Experience with data visualization software/techniques.

• Data process analysis and process improvement experience.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

No direct reports.

Education:

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years' experience in financial/data analytics or data related fields.

Experience:

• 2+ years' experience creating periodic reporting and analysis.
• 2+ years' experience sharing insights with business and leadership teams.

Working Environment

• Well-lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor setting with adequate ventilation

• General office environment

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
