Tractor/Trailer Trasnporter

Position Overview:

As a Tractor/Trailer Transporter you will be responsible for tractors, trailers, parts and vehicles to and from the various Bozzuto's yards.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the tractor and trailer departments on transportation needs

• Picking up and delivering equipment to various locations withing the Bozzuto's ODC and NHDC locations

• Picking up and delivering parts when needed for the Fleet Maintenance department

• Operating the cleaning machine when there is down time between runs to maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Assisting technicians when needed during down time between runs

• Participating in quality assurance programs for consistent adherence to industry safety standards

• Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment in the fleet department

• Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

• Sunday - Thursday

• Weekend availability as needed by the business

Experience:

• Preferred: One (1) years CDLA Driving experience

• Valid CDLA Driver's License required

Skills:

• Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift

• Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs. Standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 8 hours daily; working in various temperature environments; the ability to operate required equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout shift; using hand tools and job specific equipment

• Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis

• Organizational Skills: Working timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality

• Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
