Summary

The Tractor Trailer Tanker Operator is responsible for loading large quantities of non-hazardous fluid waste at the company facilities, transporting it to wastewater facilities, and offload utilizing a 130 BBL vacuum trailer to support our brewing and packaging operations. Role will also be assigned to deliver transfer trailers of Sapporo and Stone Brewing products between buildings several times a day.

• Sunday Hours: 1:00pm

• 9:30pm

• Monday

• Thursday Hours: 2:00pm

• 10:30pm

• All new hires will train Monday

• Friday for the first 3-4 weeks

• Potential for overtime depending on business needs

• Permanent schedule is subject to change due to anticipated increase in tanker needs

Responsibilities

• Load and unload liquid cargo safely and efficiently.

• Drive or pilot vehicle in accordance with regulations and company policies.

• Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment.

• Follow safety procedures and respond quickly in emergency situations.

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

• Complete necessary paperwork and recordkeeping.

• Delivering trailers of all Sapporo and Stone Brewing products between buildings several times a day.

• Accurately verifying, arranging, and securing loads for designated deliveries at the start of each day and after each delivery.

• Maintaining accurate digital records and logs.

• Coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) multiple trailers each day, and safely dock 48-53 ft. trailers in tight spaces if necessary.

• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure trucks/trailers are kept clean and well maintained by maintenance instructions.

• Dropping off and picking up trucks/trailers from maintenance service location.

• Safely operating a vacuum trailer, as needed (if tasked as the operator).

• Following all road regulations and driving safely and courteously as representatives of Sapporo and Stone Brewing.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, and DOT compliance regulations?

Requirements

• 3+ years of previous and relevant experience driving a tractor trailer sized truck.?

• 3+ years of previous and relevant experience driving/operating a tanker vacuum trailer.

• Active Class A license issued by the state of CA with a clean MVR.??

• Tanker Endorsement Required.?

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

• Ability to operate and maintain specialized equipment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.

• Physical stamina and ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.

• Flexibility to work additional hours and days that deviate from regular work schedules.?

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to work well in a team environment.?

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and work independently on assigned tasks.?

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

• Pay Range: $28.00/hr.

• Additional Pay: This role is eligible for our shift bonus pay
