The Schneider maintenance team has an immediate need for an energetic, safety minded Sr. Tractor Technician to perform all tractor estimation, diagnosis, and corrections while following standard operating procedures (SOP's). As a member of our maintenance team, you will perform all major and minor repairs in a proficient manner including major wreck repair. You will complete routine rebuilds and replacements, makes best value and safety decisions to continue to operate, repair or replace, and then perform technical repairs and/or replacements. Our preferred candidate will have:

  • High School diploma/GED or relevant work experience required.

  • Tool mastery Digital multimeter, welders, cutting torch, frame / body straightening equipment, hand and power tools, and shop computer navigation.

  • Successfully demonstrated welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials.

  • Advanced skills with diagnostic software, Detroit S-60, DD15 engines, and DEF/after treatment repairs

  • Skill with windows based computer systems and ability to use diagnostic software preferred

  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written, and have the ability to read and understand English

  • Ability to provide own tools within 30 days of hire

The position may be located in New Orleans, LA; Woodlands TX; or Jackson, MS. The posting is scheduled to close on 10/23/19. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The Technical Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Enablement Systems & Automation, and often works closely with the Chief Supply Officer and their staff. The position is responsible for assisting the systems & automation team in developing, implementing, and executing a business technical support strategy as we implement a new digital portfolio including a new ERP suite of programs. This role will provide analytical and technical/system support services to support that strategy. The position will work closely with all supply chain departments and their customers to define, seek customer feedback on, allocate resources to, and manage the strategic plan, deliver ongoing visibility into performance, provide new business insights, and deliver decision support analytics. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure that the Team and its suppliers always put safety first. Actively promote strong safety behaviors, utilizing key tools such as Close Call / Good Catch in addition to proactive field and office visits to review standards and behaviors. Monitors and influences suppliers and other stakeholders to proactively identify safety concerns. * Assist manager and team to lead the development of a multi-year strategic technology roadmap and a program of technology projects to support the supply chain organization's journey to first quartile performance. This includes conducting capability assessments, identifying business requirements, constructing business cases, and developing sequenced deployment plans * Consistently demonstrate the ability to understand and quantify customer requirements for intermediate to complex needs * Define protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adhere to requirements. * Develop comprehensive business cases to support Supply Chain and IT projects. * Effectively manage relationships and is able to create rapport with others. Anticipate customer/stakeholder needs and accept ownership * Effectively utilize all data and tools available in an effort to provide exceptional customer support * Identify and solve root cause of problems rather than symptoms * Identify opportunities to create new Supply Chain technology tools and integrate in business process to ensure maximum return on investment; Improve on existing IT applications and processes including eBusiness/ technology initiatives * Lead complex business and financial analysis based on project scope and objectives and develops recommendations to management based on findings * Lead the development of technology training programs that are needed across Entergy Supply Chain/Customer base or that are best provided by a centralized organization * Make sound decisions with limited supervision when faced with complex issues. Make decisions that align with goals and targets * Stay abreast of IT innovations and applications and recommend IT solutions to improve department's overall performance in carrying out it's responsibilitieS. * Provide ERP (Asset Suite/Maximo): * Technology requirements and solutions for Supply Chain employees with support from Information technology * Support ERP remedy cases and test fixes with IT * Develop User guides and training materials/provide user training * Lead Tier I and Tier II business/user groups * Lead enhancement and upgrade testing * Support Sox and other system audit testing and reporting requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position Prefer either Supply Chain related BA/BS/MS /MBA degree (such as business, computer science, accounting, finance, engineering/technical), professional supply chain/procurement certification, OR equivalent related experience. Minimum experience required of the position Minimum 5 years preferred experience in technology, business consulting or supply chain. Required: 3+ relational database design and demonstrated experience in a programming language and/or deep/predictive analytical experience.
