Overview

Pony Xpress is The leading Amazon Linehaul DSP in the Twinsburg area, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Tractor Fleet Mechanic to join our team. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive issues on tractors.

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 40 hours

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, replacement of air lines, PMs and other duties as assigned.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in vehicles and equipment

• Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or safety concerns and maintain DOT Compliance

• Complete necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

• Work with management to ensure compliance of all vehicles at all times

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the fleet

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tractor Mechanic or similar role

• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Familiarity with air brake systems and vehicle maintenance procedures

• Experience working with Amazon Tractors a plus

• Familiarity with DOT Inspections

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
